West Coast Analytical Service, Inc (WCAS) was opened in 1984 as an independent testing laboratory and  specialized in trace chemical analysis using ICPMS, ICPOES, GC, LC, IC, GCMS, LC-MS/MS, FTIR, NMR, XRF etc.  In 2006, the laboratory was sold to Bodycote Testing Group, and in 2008 the testing group was sold again and became Exova.  While we are still an independent testing lab, we are now part of a group of ~140 labs world wide with expertise in many areas.
 

Most of our work is performed for the pharmaceutical and environmental industries, however we offer a full range of analytical chemistry services which can be applied in various disciplines.  In addition, we work  with a variety of research organizations on exposure

We have a strict Quality Assurance program, and most of our work is compliant with applicable GMP and GLP regulations.  In addition we are certified by a number of agencies and associations, and we participate in round-robin, performance evaluation studies.

Exova has other labs which serve aerospace, construction, defense, energy, environmental, food, consumer products, metallurgy, plastics, electronics, transportation, and utility industries.
