Mr. Rose is an Operating Partner on the Healthcare team, having joined WCAS in 2022. Mr. Rose leads the team’s data and analytics strategy. He works to both assess the data assets of new investments and identify opportunities across portfolio companies to leverage data to enhance performance, including specifically by better quantifying the value our companies provide to the healthcare system through objective measures of quality, outcomes, patient satisfaction, risk reduction and cost avoidance. Prior to joining WCAS, Mr. Rose spent nearly two decades at the Advisory Board Company and the Optum division of United Health Group. There, he led best practice research, clinical technology evaluation and new product development teams. Throughout the 2010s, Mr. Rose founded and managed a claims-based market share and strategy software service that remains a market-leading Optum offering. Mr. Rose has also served as General Manager of NorthStar Anesthesia's ambulatory surgery center division, with both operational and business development oversight.
